There are some problems that have been encountered while trying to configure the blog for multiple users and because of this the blog section of the site will be moved into a testing mode. This testing mode will take a few weeks while I evaluate whether the scripting needs to be scratched and the whole blog moved to a different program.

I you choose to try out the blog please realize that there is a chance that any entries, or any blogs created will be removed.

I've been working on creating an rss feed for some of the larger schools across the country. Although it's not going as well as I had hoped, it is moving along. What I was hoping for was to have rss feeds from all the major/larger schools and allow users to choose, but many of the schools don't have rss feeds, and still many more have feeds that aren't compatible with the scripting that I'm using. This leaves me in a difficult position, just do the schools that have the compatible feeds, or just do a sampling of schools, and not off the visitor more?

I'll let time work it out. For now, it's nice to have the feeds aggregating on the home page though.

Well, it has been a long time coming, but I've been spending a lot of time doing some customizations to the site. The most recent is working on bringing Profblog into the design of the site. I configured the login and the register page to fit the rest of the site, but there's still much more to do. Many of the problems stem from the fact that I'm aggregating several scripts together, and each script has it's own info. Occationally the scripts will conflict with each other and there will be formatting problems and sometimes much more.

I also added a small program that will draw on the three most recent profblog posts and display them where I want them. Currently it's only on the front page, but soon it will be merged with the rest of the site. I've looked into hiring content writers and other positions, and it may only be a few short weeks before the content starts to fill up... we'll have to see though.
